Enclosure!
My Lord,
With reference to Sir F. H. May's Despatch
No. 209 of the 16th July, 1918, I have the honour to inform Your Lordship that, by a mistake on their part, the General Managers of the China Light and Power Company applied for an area which will be insufficient for their purposes.
2.
Application has now been made by the Company for the grant of an additional area, without public auction, of approximately 17,000 square feet, as shown coloured red on the enclosed plan, as an extension of Kowloon Marine Lot 93, which was granted to the Company in exchange for their present site, and I enclose a copy of the terms for the proposed extension, as accepted by the Company.
If you are prepared to sanction the sale of this extra land without auction, I should be glad to receive your approval by telegraph.
I have the honour to be,
My Lord,
Your Lordship's most obedient,
humble servant,
Chad Severn
Officer Administering the Government.

VISCOUNT MILNER, G.Ċ.B.,
